While releasing Job Board theme, we thought we covered every important aspects of this niche but thanks to active feedback from members, we have now added some of the missing important features into the theme. The theme is now available for download in templatic member area.
What’s new
Advanced search
Site visitors can now do advanced search based on the criteria of their choice. They can search jobs based on location, job type, category and so on.
Company Logo
While posting a job, the user can submit company logo that will be displayed separately on the job details page.
Apply Online
Administrator can activate “Apply Online” feature from admin panel. The job publisher then can enable this feature while publishing a job. Once the job is published, the visitor can submit their resume directly from this page and it will be sent to the job publisher email
Registration process
Job publishing process has been refined completely. Users can simply login or register quickly while submitting a job. They don’t have to login first.
Fees structure
Administrator can specify more than one fees structure now. For example, $10 for 30 days, $15 for 60 days and so on.
Predefined, unlimited Locations
Administrator can specify different locations of his choice in the admin area. Job publishers will then be able to select one of them while posting a job.
Share, Print or Email
site visitors will now be able to share, print or email the job to their friends directly from the job details page.
One of our aim is to keep this theme simple with balanced features. Guess that made Job Board theme much better and perfect now.
Guess you now have more reasons to grab Job Board theme. If you are already a member, simply login to templatic member area and download latest version of the theme. Open changelog.txt file in order to know exactly what has been changed.

What I really need in a job board site is the ability for the Job SEEKER to post a Resume/CV and the ability of the EMPLOYER to search them. 2-way job board is a base requirement. Have yet to find one on the Wordpress platform, although there seem to be good ones on Drupal and Joomla.
Hi Bob,
having a job seeker post resumes is nice to have feature but it wouldn’t let this theme be simple job board then. Instead, it would grow into massive job portal which would require hundreds of other features at the same time
Bhavesh,I would only like to say that this is awesome theme but do add some more features.Like add Resume Section,Where employers can also find those who are seeking jobs.
Otherwise this theme is fantastic…
First all. I love the fact that you actually listen to clients! Love the update!
@bob
It would be a nice feature, but perhaps just too much for a theme. If you search well you will find job board plugins where users can add their resume and employers can search them.
But they not as good as this one and the support is really nothing compared to what Templatic offers.
And a great opportunity for a development firm!
There’s nothing on Wordpress comparable to that and I’ve found only one plugin that even allows uploads.
Drupal has a very sophisticated job portal module, but a big learning curve.
Joomla has some paid-for modules of moderate sophistication.
WP is in real need of something along the same lines.
R.Bhavesh, a simple and incomplete job theme don’t help nobody (or only a small range people).
agreed. We’d love to know what do you find incomplete in this theme. A constructive feedback will definitely help us fill the gap here
Got your tweet about whether I’ve tried your Wordpress themes for our job board, CollegeRecruiter.com. No but I did consider them and liked them a lot. We needed something that would allow candidates to log in and upload resumes or create profiles. But boards that don’t need or want that functionality should definitely consider your option. Cheap, simple, easy, and effective. That’s a nice combination.
Nice work, R.Bhavesh!
Time to think about another area: Yellow Pages theme and advanced Classifieds portal theme.
+1
Definitely need a yellow pages / advance local business directory theme. Highly sought after!
On another note, the company logo in the job detail page should be under the company name, reason is alot of companies have wide logos so that’s really needed here.
Overall it’s a perfect theme, thanks for adding the resume option. I was about to purchase JobPress theme.
@R.Bhavesh
Will you be updating Real Estate theme anytime soon?
Can’t promise a release date in near future. But when it will come, it will be complete, best ever solution for sure.
Develope it as a framework (just like you did with the e-commerse framework), please.
