I redesigned my personal portfolio before few months and many users requested a similar theme for their own small business website. Usually, a consultant or an expert in specific field could use the theme for their business website that highlights their personality while showcasing their work and services professionally as well.
We refined the theme structure, improved typography, spacing and added some strategic bits in the layout. Here’s the preview to the consultant theme for book authors, musicians or expert in any field.
- The main banner highlights your attractive photo and you may list a basic, impressive introduction about yourself.
- Immediately after the banner, there is a provision to highlight your featured work such as the websites you created, books / music CDs you published, research papers you made and so on. The big banner on the right could be used to highlight your special offer, upcoming event where you will be speaking/be present or any other purpose.
- Below that, in the services section, you may highlight services you provide or other features.
- On the right, the iSocialize block has the provision to links at twitter, linked in and facebook – where you socialize regularly.
- The big footer highlights your latest blog posts, testimonials, and subscribe feed.

I like the theme very much. Two questions though: 1) Can I edit the menu items, like services, portfolio etc? 2) Can the testimonials at the bottom be optional/or better still, can I leave that section blank if I am not providing the kind of service that will need testimonials?

1) Yep, you may add pagess as per your wish.
2) All the section in the homepage are editable widgets so you may display them as per your choice. In case you don’t want to add some parts like testimonials, simply don’t add it.

This theme just looks so professional – you have done a great job with this! Now I can start to promote myself as a real consultant and look the part. I especially like the iSocialize block. What will be the the other color schemes?
