If you keep up with the latest developments at WordPress, you’d probably know that version 3.2 is out now, after a few beta and RC releases. It brought with it some cool new features and some notable UI changes too. We’d like to notify our users that WordPress 3.2 has some minimum requirement changes as mentioned below.
- PHP 5.2.4 or greater (old requirement – since WordPress 2.5 was PHP 4.3 or greater)
- MySQL 5.0.15 or greater (old requirement – since WordPress 2.9 was MySQL 4.1.2 or greater)
We’ve tested our themes on WordPress 3.2 and are glad that they are all working as they should. In a rare event, if you find any issues with any of our themes, please let us know via our helpdesk and we’ll sort it out.

The php version is greater than PHP 5.2.4 and the mysql version is 5.2.14 which is greater than 5.2.4 so according to the requirements it should work. I’ve re-uploaded the files 3 times and still the same problem. What could be wrong?
It would be great if you be specific on whether you are facing a theme related problem or with WordPress itself. If you face WP problem, your web host could best resolve this. If this is a theme issue, please let us know the details further (which theme you are using, at which URL etc) and we’d definitely help.
Just out of curiosity, would this work for sites that don’t actually sell things? Not a Groupon but something like Techbargains.com or Dealnews.com? A deal site but not a deal site where you hold the inventory yourself. An affiliate site essentially.
