Show categories alongside fancy icons in category lists
Category Icons will allow you to associate small icons with your categories. These icons will then show alongside the category name in all areas designed to list out category names. Cool thing about the icon option is the fact it integrates within the section you use to create categories allowing you to manage the category name, description, map marker and icon all at once.
Once assigned the category icons will be shown in:
- All Categories List homepage widget
- Sub-categories list when viewing a parent category
- Browse by Categories widget
- Categories widget
Use Font Awesome or upload your own image
You can assign a category icon by either choosing one of hundreds fontawesome icons or uploading an image of your own. Font Awesome icons are great because they will automatically resize depending on the context in which the icon is shown. For example, as there is more space for icons in the All Categories List widget compared to the others, the theme will automatically display a larger icon for that area.
