  1. Wow this a sweet theme! I only wish I had an iPhone app to sell :) Great job!!!

  2. - I’d recommend ensuring that the twitter posting/sharing integration is as seamless as possible (one-click done !)
    - The header area (blue part) is huge – can the iPhone graphic and the blue header be customer configurable?

I’ll think of more soon – but so far you’re looking good

    • Thanks for the suggestion james. I am not quite sure on the “twitter sharing” part. Can you elaborate on that one?

The header area is huge because it will stay there as is. A customer needs to see the screenshot, where to buy etc. However, we do provide colorschemes so people can use alternate styles. Also they can customize it further by tweaking CSS files.

Looking forward to more of your suggestions

  3. Love this theme, you guys. Got a couple of projects I could use this on today! I assume it’ll come in multiple colors? Could the testimonials rotate through 5 or so, entered in the Admin Panel? (For an example, see the bottom of this site: http://www.industrialmobility.com/)

Not to state the obvious, but what about an alternate stylesheet that is optimized for viewing in Safari on an iPhone?

Love these niche-oriented themes you guys are building. Keep up the great work!

    • yep, it will come in few lovely alternative colorschemes.

We didn’t intend to, but nice suggestion on testimonials. We will impelement the rotating testimonials on refresh.

At the moment, we are inexperience on developing for iphone. So, alternate iphone stylesheet wont be possible.

  4. The design looks very nice, but there are a couple problems.

The tweaking of the “Available on the App Store” badge to say “Available on the iPhone App Store”, and the manner in which the iPhone device artwork is used to display the app appear to be in violation of Apple’s App Marketing Artwork License Agreement and Apple’s App Marketing and Identity Guidelines. Apple requires each developer wishing to use the iPhone device artwork in their advertising, promotions and websites to agree to their artwork license and only use their device artwork, the App Store badge and Apple trademarks according to their guidelines.

While one could argue that there are too many apps for Apple to effectively police their rules, by flaunting them one is betting against the success of ones product. Apple is very serious about their image and their intellectual property, and Apple may eventually catch up with you and at least require you to modify your site to be compliant with their rules.

It is essential to understand those guidelines when designing an app website.

    • Many thanks for you input. Ofcourse we wouldn’t want to violate any of their rules. Infact, we don’t have a reason to do so.

I will read their guidelines and make the necessary changes. Mostly, we studied numerous websites that showcase iphone app and considered the best possible elements.

  5. We are like it. Blue simple and custom design thanks for tip.

  6. Great theme!

It would be great if the theme have a top navigation with app icons.

I think that are several iphone apps series like tap tap, or even app companies that could use this theme to showcase more than 1 app.

    cheers!

    • you are right. But in this theme, we intend to showcase only one application. If you notice the navigation, we kept it in a way that header and sidebar will remain same. Only the content on the bottom right will change.

  7. Nice and Simple! My only suggestion would be to add some colors to the footer.

  8. I would suggest the habilty of embed video, just to inside the iphone screen to show a quicktime movie with the app working.

  9. It’s a great theme and the only thing that I think it needs is someplace to put the company logo.

  10. spot on. We totally missed that and will find out a way to place the company logo in the theme.

  11. We think that a “page template” with a “portafolio” is a great idea to this theme.

Also a slider featured in the hearder to post several pages with video, pics, and texts.

The logo… the company logo is very important.

And finally… instead of only twitter integration…. we think that a facebook integration may be a great idea!

    Greetings from Spain

  12. hi R.Bhavesh

    1. user should be able to choose to have vertical or horizontal iphone screen position. because some app is built to run in vertical position and some in horizontal position

    2. user able to add slider of image or video in iphone screen, which video will definitely give the real true experience of the app to potential customer

    3. instead of limit the 5 slider in iphone screen. you should allow user to add more than 5. because for me, the more screen shot / video, the better chances for customer to understand and know full potential or features of the app

    4. currently you have FREE tag on the header to show the app price. but it would be good if it able to capture real time app price from app store. so the user just update the price in app store, and automatically will reflect on this website

    5. i think you should have optional to grab app review from appstore or to have testimonial in the website. this will help user to update the review automatically from appstore

    6. to have download page which allow customer to download user manual or any other files (.pdf)

    7. add extra “available in app store” link for lite version app. some app have full version & lite version. for this also, you should have some comparison table between both version

others than that, i think others already mention it (logo, color, twitter etc)
i think that all, this is just my 2cents suggestion based on my experience browsing the apps website since i got my 1st iphone :P

btw, this is nice theme for those to start up an app business

  13. Hoping to have an app ready to sell soon. This would be great for it!

  14. Thanks for the input everybody. We released the theme earlier today. Kindly check http://templatic.com/news/represent-your-iphone-application-on-the-web/
