Information in this article is only good for installing Templatic themes that aren’t powered by additional plugins (Tevolution) or parent themes (Supreme and Ecom Framework). For instructions on installing those themes please open the theme guide for your theme.

Installing a theme is the first and arguably the most important step when creating a new site. This tutorial will provide a few ways to do just that.

Installing using the back-end

    1. Connect to the member area and download your theme
    2. Login to wp-admin and navigate to Appearance -> Themes -> Install Themes (tab) -> Upload.
    3. Click on the browse button and locate the downloaded file. Click on “Install Now” once the file has been selected.

  • To populate the site with dummy data (easier to get started) navigate to Appearance -> Themes and click on the big dummy data activation button

Installing using FTP

In case you cannot use the back-end uploaders, installation is possible via FTP. For detailed instructions on using this method open the following article
