With Directory you can create category specific price package. These price packages allows their subscribers to post their listings into specific categories only.

How to create category specific price packages

You can configure which categories a package supports by editing it or can set the categories right when you create it. Name of the package should me intuitive so that the users come to know that the package will allow him to post only in certain categories.

The image shows a details of a package called “category specific package” that is only for the category “Places” and its sub-categories “Parks” and “Restaurants”.

Effect on front-end

When a user chooses a package, and proceeds to submit a listing, he will be allowed to choose only from the categories that are offered by the package.

When creating a price package make sure that you have properly described the limitation of the price package. Before selecting the price package the user should have a clear idea that he/she is paying for a package that will let him post into certain categories only and not in others.

Difference between category price and category price package

Setting a category price will allow us to set price for individual categories, and the price is calculated based on the category he selects. While creating a category specific package will let the user choose from the categories the package supports.
